Employee Wellbeing Strategy

Wellbeing drives performance

Service Description

Our research has shown that optimal mental wellbeing and mental fitness drive optimal performance. We partner with organisations experiencing low employee engagement, high sickness absence and voluntary turnover to embed Wellbeing and Positive Leadership practices for individual & organizational flourishing. We don't just offer yoga sessions and recommend changes to Recognition policy, we partner with HR and business leaders to identify any existing policies, job design and leadership practices that may be inadvertently causing burnout, stress, conflict, high sickness absence and turnover, to develop more human-centric practices that enhance mental wellbeing, inclusion and performance. One of the interventions we offer is education on neuroscience and emotional health, to help employees build internal capabilities, practices and habits to strengthen their mental health and navigate challenges at work and life in general. This becomes such a crucial life skill and superpower that enables them to achieve sustainable wellbeing, balance and high performance. Leadership Training Programs can also cover these key areas: help leaders engage in mental health conversations with their staff, help them better understand policies and procedures and their obligations for managing psychosocial hazards at work, understand the possible causes of workplace stress, understand their liability in not managing these issues and not acting proactively to prevent psychosocial hazards, on leadership styles that increase legal risk and leadership behaviours that create psychological safety, how to set reasonable role expectations and keep staff accountable, how to effectively delegate to staff, how to manage interpersonal issues and staff conflict, how to manage workplace stress leave to maximise employee recovery and re-engagement and finally how to create a Personal Situation Plan (PSP) to help them and affected employees manage their mental health in the workplace, how to mitigate bias that relates to those taking stress leave. In reality, we all get stressed at times and just because we struggled at one point, that won’t mean we always will and it shouldn't impact opportunities for development. This session is an initial consultation to help analyse business needs, timelines and develop an action plan and tailored interventions that will address those needs.
